Now Offering Telehealth!

We are preparing for when we are ready to reopen our clinic doors. We are currently in the process of making sure that we will meet all of the guidelines set by our government to ensure that we are safe when we reopen. We are continuing to remain cautious as the health of our families and staff is our top priority, especially due to the nature of the population that we serve. In the meantime, we are offering telehealth as a way to help your child and family. Telehealth is a way of receiving therapy through a live video chat. We want to see your child progress towards achieving their goals!
  • Current families: We are currently offering visits via telehealth. Most insurance companies are covering these visits. Please email our clinic director, Emily, at if you are interested in receiving telehealth. We look forward to continuing to progress towards your goals!
  • New families: When we reopen our clinic doors, we would be happy to see you for an in-person evaluation. At that time, we can discuss options for continuing treatment sessions through telehealth. We look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your child's goals! If you are interested in completing an evaluation, please email our clinic director, Emily, at

TheraPLACE Families:

We value each of you as a member of our TheraPLACE community. We would like to give an update regarding COVID-19. To start, please know that we have always used infection control procedures to prevent transmission of potential infectious diseases. Because of the current situation, we are going beyond the recommended standard by increasing the frequency with which we are cleaning the lobby, surfaces, and equipment.

We are continuing to see patients as usual; however, we are asking for your assistance in keeping everyone, especially our kiddos who have compromised immune systems, healthy. Please do the following:
1. Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the building.
2. In an attempt to limit the number of people congregating in the lobby, we encourage you to wait for your child in the car while they are in therapy.
3. Please call to cancel your appointment if you or a household member have traveled to an area with an outbreak or internationally within the last 14 days.
4. Please call our office if you or a household member have had a fever, cold or flu-like symptoms, or respiratory illness within the last 14 days.

If you have any questions or need to cancel your appointment, please call us at (502) 893-1380. We will continue to monitor the news regarding COVID-19. We are committed to continuing progress towards your therapy goals during this time, and appreciate your assistance with keeping our families healthy and safe!
